Córdoba CF to start pre-season on July 8 with Iván Ania

Córdoba CF has set the starting point for its new project. While waiting to determine the summer friendly schedule, the club has already defined the first dates for the 2026-2027 pre-season, which will again be led by Iván Ania.

When does the pre-season start?

The team will officially start training on Wednesday, July 8, when the new Córdoba CF block will begin. Before taking to the field, the squad will undergo the usual start-of-season medical checks, scheduled for July 6 and 7, Monday and Tuesday, respectively.

Where will the pre-season take place?

The route designed by the club maintains a very similar line to that of previous campaigns. In fact, the start of training will arrive just one day earlier than in the summer of 2025, when the Califa preparation also started on a Wednesday, although it was on July 9.

What friendlies have been confirmed?

At the same time, Córdoba CF is also continuing to outline the schedule of preparation matches. The entity's intention is to maintain a figure very similar to that of last summer, when the team played five friendlies before the start of the official competition. So far, only one date has been completely defined. It will be on July 23, when Iván Ania's team will host Sevilla, a First Division team, at El Arcángel, as part of the fourth edition of the Trofeo Puertas de Córdoba.
