Córdoba CF is already gearing up for the next season. After a season where the blanquiverde team has shown its evolution in Segunda División, Iván Ania's pupils will return to work next week with the ambition to fight for ambitious goals in their third consecutive course in the silver category of Spanish football.
What will happen in the pre-season?
The squad will undergo the usual protocol of starting the course with medical checks, scheduled for July 6 and 7, Monday and Tuesday, respectively, at the Hospital San Juan de Dios in Córdoba.
When will training start?
Once those tests are completed, it is expected that the team will officially start training on Wednesday, July 8, the day when the new Córdoba block will start rolling.
Córdoba CF will have more than a month to prepare for their league debut against Burgos at El Plantío, a match that will be played on the weekend of August 15. Until then, in addition to the seven incorporations that Córdoba already has -Tasende, Adanane, Egoitz Muñoz, Juan Gutiérrez, Jacobo Martí, Unai Sabroso and Enol- new faces will appear at the Ciudad Deportiva to demonstrate their worth to Iván Ania.
What other friendly matches have been confirmed?
The preparation calendar still has few confirmed commitments, although the blanquiverde entity aims to repeat around five friendly matches. For now, the only confirmed date is the fourth edition of the Trofeo Puertas de Córdoba, which will be played on July 23 at El Arcángel against Sevilla.
